Eufaula extends curfew due to COVID-19

EUFAULA, Ala. (WDHN) — Eufuala is extending its curfew to July 31 due to the current coronavirus situation.

The curfew runs from 10:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m., seven days a week.

Under the order, no one will be allowed in public places during curfew hours unless they returning to their place of residence from outside the city, traveling to a place of residence outside of the city, or traveling through the city without stopping.

The curfew does not apply to people at work who are traveling to and from work.

Those who do not comply with the order may face a fine of up to $500 and/or up to 180 days in jail.
