DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — Hospitalizations in the Circle City are continuing to rise while Alabama’s numbers continue to break records.
Southeast Health is currently treating 65 COVID-19 patients. In total, 1,080 inpatients had been successfully discharged while 174 cases in death.
Across town, Flowers Hospital and its group offices have confirmed 4,103 positive cases since March, according to Chris Judah, director of the Dothan-Houston County Emergency Management Agency
The hospital is treating 50 patients, and as of Wednesday morning, 137 cases turned fatal.
Meanwhile, Alabama broke another record in hospitalizations Tuesday, with 106 hospitals reporting 2,538 patients. This number dipped down a bit Wednesday, with 107 hospitals reporting 2,535 COVId-19 patients.
