DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — Southeast Health reported seven COVID-19 patient deaths, according to a Monday release from the Joint Information Center.
This means that over the weekend, five people passed away after contracting the virus. In total, the hospital has seen 38 confirmed cases of COVID-19.
In total, the hospital has tested 205 people, with 132of the patients testing negative. Nine positive patients were discharged, although the hospital previously reported 10.
Thirty people are still waiting for their results; 27 of them are at the hospital.
Flowers Hospital has not reported any deaths but has three new cases of COVID-19 since Friday with a total of six. The hospital has tested 126 people, with 13 of those tests still pending.
