DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — Active COVID-19 cases in Dothan City Schools have increased three-fold since Monday, according to the DCS dashboard.
Monday, WDHN reported that there were 10 active COVID-19 staff cases and 12 other staff members in quarantine, per the same dashboard. As of Tuesday, these figures have risen to 32 active cases and 28 staff members in quarantine.
Among students, there are 20 active cases and 99 other students in quarantine.
Dothan City Schools previously placed two schools, Kelly Springs Elementary and Dothan Preparatory Academy, on virtual learning for the rest of the week due to staffing issues.
