DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — COVID-19 risk levels have leveled off in Alabama’s southeastern district.
As of Thursday, Coffee, Dale, Henry, Houston, and Geneva counties are now ranked as moderate risk areas.
Only two counties are still high risk regions: Pike and Covington County.
Last week, the entire district was placed under high alert. However, the state of Alabama has shown improvements as hospitalizations have continued to decline.
The percent of positive tests also decreased from 17.8 percent to 13.9 percent.
