BREAKING: More deaths reported in Dothan; over 1,500 COVID-19 cases reported in Alabama

DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — Southeast Health confirmed the deaths of two more COVID-19 patients Friday, according to its statistics board.

The number of COVID-19 cases tested at the hospital has jumped to 29, although 10 people have been discharged since their diagnosis. The hospital has tested 181 people with 102 people getting negative results.

Forty-seven people still waiting for their results to come back, 19 of them still under inpatient care.

As of this report, the state is reporting 1,515 cases across 65 of its 67 counties, and 38 reported deaths, 21 of which are confirmed to be caused by COVID-19. No deaths have been shown for Houston County on the ADPH dashboard.

Almost all the counties in our viewing area have cases of COVID-19. Here’s how each county is faring so far:
