DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — The percent of positive covid-19 tests in Alabama has dropped for the sixth week in a row.
Only 9.4 percent of the 73,958 tests done last week came back positive, which is the lowest it’s been since the week of Halloween.
Meanwhile, the Alabama Department of Public Health is reporting improved situations across the board.
Both Coffee and Geneva counties have been downgraded to low risk for covid-19 while the rest of our region remains at moderate risk.
As of this report, there are no high risk counties in Alabama. The state is also reporting 1,003 hospitalizations.
