ALABAMA (WHNT) — The Alabama Department of Public Health is ramping up their vaccine distribution plans.

Beginning Monday Feb. 8, ADPH will open eight large scale drive through vaccination clinics.

The clinics will be located in Anniston, Birmingham, Dothan, Huntsville, Mobile, Montgomery, Selma, and Tuscaloosa.

ADPH says the goal is for each location to be able to give 1,000 vaccines per day, totaling 40,000 doses administered in the first week.
