85 total COVID-19 deaths reported at Southeast Health; 62 at Flowers Hospital

DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — Dothan’s major hospitals have reported new data for their COVID-19 situation.

Southeast Health has confirmed 782 cases since March, with 546 of them getting discharged while 85 patients died after contracting the illness.

As of this report, the hospital is 49 patients with COVID-19.

Over in west Dothan, Flowers Hospital has seen a drop in its number of COVID-19 patients. According to the information given to the Dothan-Houston County Emergency Management Agency, the hospital is treating 25 patients.

In total, Flowers Hospital facilities, including offices and the hospital itself, have confirmed 2,133 cases since they began testing.
