DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — Flowers Hospital has confirmed 634 cases of COVID-19, according to new information from the hospital.
The hospital has tested 4365 people, 82 of which are still pending as of this Friday. Thursday, it was reported that the hospital had 27 COVID-19 deaths.
Flowers’ total is 281 cases more than Dothan’s other major hospital, Southeast Health, which is now counting 353 cases since March. Out of these cases, 39 have ended in deaths while 229 resulted in discharges.
However, Southeast Health is still seeing 48 patients with the virus.
Medical Center Enterprise also released new numbers. According to a release from the Coffee County Emergency Management Agency, the hospital has confirmed 100 cases.
1551 tests have been collected, with 40 still pending.
