DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — The number of COVID-19 cases at Flowers Hospital has risen to 50 so far, according to a release from Dothan’s Joint Information Center.
The hospital has tested 578 people, with eight of them still waiting for their results.
Across town, Southeast Health now has 101 cases, with 59 of those ending in discharges. Seventeen people have died after testing positive for COVID-19.
The hospital has tested 653 people, and only seven of them are still waiting for their results.
Houston County currently has 100 cases of COVID-19 and four deaths. It is the second-highest Alabama county in the Wiregrass in terms of COVID-19 cases — surpassed by Coffee County with its total of 141 cases.
