DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — Dothan City Schools has confirmed that five of its staff members have been diagnosed with COVID-19, according to its new case dashboard.

The dashboard also says six employees have been exposed and are now quarantined while monitoring for any symptoms.

The new dashboard will separate cases by students and staff members, as seen above.

Every time someone tests positive, they will be added to the cumulative total. Those who test positive will then be isolated for at least 10 days and will be readmitted to school once they meet the DCS wellness criteria in its reopening plan.

The total of those exposed will only consist of those who have not tested positive but were identified through contact tracing, self-reported interaction with those who have COVID-19, or the DCS Health Screening Survey.

They will be quarantined for 14 days while checking for any signs of COVID-19.

The DCS dashboard will be updated every two weeks with new data.
