20 COVID-19 deaths reported at Southeast Health; 25 still hospitalized

DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — Southeast Health has reported 20 COVID-19 deaths as of Monday morning.

Since the pandemic began, the hospital confirmed 145 cases of COVID-19 out of 1,545 tests. Eighty-three of those cases ended in discharges.

The hospital is also now reporting the number of hospitalized patients. As of this report, 25 people are still being treated.

However, Southeast Health is no longer reporting the number of people waiting for their test results due to improved testing capabilities.
