U.S. Marshals search for ‘dangerous sex offender’ on the run in Alabama

MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WDHN) — The United States Marshals Gulf Coast Regional Fugitive Task Force is looking for a man wanted on numerous charges.

Central Alabama Crime Stoppers reported that Timothy Jabbar Wyatt, 40, is wanted on warrants for “Kidnapping, Assault, and Attempted Rape-Dangerous/Violent Sex Offender/Serial Rapist.”

“U.S. Marshals also advise of previous arrests for Kidnapping, Sodomy, Rape, Attempted Rape, Robbery, Attempted Murder, Domestic Violence, Illegal Narcotics Possession, Weapons Violations, and Obstruction,” the release states.

Wyatt is described as standing six feet tall and weighing around 222 pounds. Crime Stoppers dubbed him as being armed and dangerous with violent tendencies.

He is believed to be hiding around Birmingham, Calera, Clanton, Wetumpka, Prattville, or Montgomery. If you know where he is, you are asked to call the task force at 334-531-5681, Crime Stoppers at 215-STOP (7867) or 1-833-AL1-STOP, or your local law enforcement agency.

Any tips leading to his arrests may be rewarded with $5,000.
