DANVILLE, Ala. (AP) — Police say they’ve arrested an Alabama man wanted in a triple slaying. The Decatur Police Department said in a news release that authorities arrested 58-year-old Carson Peters on Tuesday.
Authorities haven’t released details of the arrest. Police say Peters is accused of capital murder in the deaths of 54-year-old Teresa Peters and two others on Sunday in Morgan County.
News outlets report court documents show Carson Peters had filed for divorce from Teresa Peters in January.
A filing by the woman three days before the shooting deaths shows she asked a judge to hold the man in contempt of court for allegedly locking some of her belongings in a shed.
