"We are excited about adding Karen to our roster for the spring season,” Kidd said. “He comes with a lot of experience and expectations. He has a tremendous work ethic that will contribute so much to this men's team. His speed and consistency will make a big impact on the lineup in helping us be successful this spring. We will see great things from Karen as a freshman this season."
Di Paola, a native of Mendoza, Argentina, comes Troy after being ranked as high as No. 7 in the Argentina national rankings.
"Juan Cruz was the first recruit to sign for our new coaching staff,” Kidd said. “Juan's junior experience and success in Argentina as a top ten ranked junior will allow him to play a major role in our starting line-up in the spring season.
“His incredible work ethic on the court and ability to adapt will give him the ability to be a solid player for our team in singles and doubles. Juan is a player that we will see grow with each and every match and be a winner for us. His fight and zeal on the court will play a huge role in pushing this team forward to being successful and winning the Sun Belt Conference Championship."
The Trojans open their season January 18 at Alabama.
