OZARK, Ala. – U.S. Representative Martha Roby (R-AL) will visit with members of the Fort Rucker community at breakfast meeting of the Association of the U.S. Army (AUSA) on Thursday, August 22 at 7:30 a.m. in Ozark.

Rep. Roby, a member of the House Armed Services Committee, will discuss and ask for feedback on issues important to the Fort Rucker community, such as passing a new defense authorization bill and ongoing problems relating to sequestration. Rep. Roby has continually stressed that the out-of-control growth of automatic, mandatory spending threatens future funding for the military and other national priorities.

During her visits throughout Alabama’s 2nd Congressional District in August and September, Rep. Roby is focused on listening to the various views and concerns of constituents. Those who cannot attend events in person can follow along and participate via Facebook and Twitter using the searchable tag #MarthaListens.
