Ozark Man Killed While Fleeing Police

An Ozark man died late Tuesday when his truck left busy roadway.
State troopers say an Ozark man was killed late Tuesday night when he wrecked his pickup truck while being pursued by police.

Bradley Thompson, 25, died when his vehicle left the roadway along U.S. 231 near Ariton. Thompson, not wearing a seatbelt, was ejected.
“Brundidge Police officers were attempting to stop this vehicle prior to the crash,” said Sgt. Steve Jarrett of the Alabama Department of Public Safety.

He said no further information. Nothing further is available as Alabama State Troopers continue to investigate.
