Grand jury: Attorney McNab stole nearly $2-million

Nine cases in court show three victims
Grand jury indictments in the case of suspended Dothan attorney show, to this point, there are three victims who may have been bilked out of over $1.8-million. Frederick Mitch (Mitch) McNab was arrested Monday on nine felony charges. Sources familiar with the investigation say other charges may be filed.

The indictments are as follows:

---Theft from the estate of Glen Ross Kennedy in the amount of $122,034.45.

---Theft from the estate of Glen Ross Kennedy in the amount of $12,797.98.

---Theft from the estate of Glen Ross Kennedy in the amount of $100,386.45.

---Theft from the property of Marcella West in the amount of $275,000.00.

---Theft from the property of Marcella West in the amount of $575,000.00.

---Theft from the property of Marcella West in the amount of $260,147.89.

---Theft from the property of Marcella West in the amount of $150,000.00.

---Theft from the property of Marcella West in the amount of $50,000.00.

---Theft from the estate of Harriet Donofro in the amount of $297,169.43.

McNab, whose law license has been suspended, was released from jail Monday after positing bond. He has retained the services of prominent Montgomery attorney Joe Espy.
