His wife, Brandy Bones-Warner, was found guilty in August of one count of child endangerment and was sentenced to five years of community control. Rape charges against her were dropped.
Prosecutors say the abuse occurred about 15 years ago in the Dayton area where Bones and Bones-Warner lived at the time. They say the victim was three years old when the first rape occurred alleging they continued for the next five years. The victim, who is now 18 years old, reported the incidents to police in September, 2012.
The Bones’ lived in Ohio before moving to Cottonwood where they resided until their arrest more than a year ago.
"This child was victimized over a number of years," Prosecutor Mat Heck Jr. said in a statement. "The defendant, Larry Eugene Bones, should never be released in order to protect the community."
