A Flash Flood Watch has been issued for southeast Alabama, northwest Florida, and southwest Georgia. The National Weather service predicts 1 to 3 inches of rain through Wednesday morning with up to 6 inches possible in isolated location.
Heavy rains Monday caused flash flooding in some places. At times, water was over roads making them nearly impassable.
Among the counties included in the Flash Flood Watch include Houston, Dale, Geneva, Henry, Coffee, Calhoun, Jackson, Washington, Holmes, Walton, Clay, Decatur, Seminole, Early and Miller.
The watch expires at 7:00 am CDT Wednesday.
