Dale County District Attorney Kirke Adams is still deciding whether to try a 15-year-old Ozark boy as an adult. The teen has been charged with attempted murder after police say he shot a 12-year old in the mouth.


Dale County District Attorney Kirke Adams is still deciding whether to try a 15-year-old Ozark boy as an adult.

The teen has been charged with attempted murder after police say he shot a 12-year old in the mouth.

It happened a week ago on College Street near the city's basketball court.

According to police, the teen walked up to the 12-year old and opened fire.

The 12 year old suffered non-life threatening injuries, while the teen is being held at the Diversion Center in Dothan.
