The camp, M.I.C. Check, will provide an educational experience for high school student musicians who are interested in a future career in the music and entertainment industries. Music professionals from throughout the country will teach master classes focused on performance, engineering, songwriting, artist management and music business, among others.
Clinicians include: Jilla Webb, vocals; Dr. Robby Gibson, Guitar; Robert W. Smith, songwriting/publishing/copyright; George McCain, artist management; Brad Green, audio engineering; Austin Thompson, engineering and percussion; and, Clark Young, bass.
The camp will also feature performances by POPulus, Troy University’s popular music ensemble comprised of students in the University’s Music Industry program, and Dino Brawl, a DJ who recently released his EP “Never Lose Your Dinosaur.”
