Troy Football Inks 13 on National Signing Day

Thirteen new signees join six mid-year transfers to make up the Trojans' 2014 class.
TROY, Ala. – Troy University football head coach Larry Blakeney announced the signing of 13 student-athletes to a National Letter of Intent at a press conference Wednesday afternoon. Wednesday’s signees join six mid-year additions to the program to make up the 2014 recruiting class.

The full signing class features student-athletes from 10 different states led by seven players from Alabama and two each from Florida, Georgia and South Carolina. The Trojans signed 10 players on the offensive side of the football and nine defensive players.

The Trojans will open spring practice on Feb. 24 and will practice for two weeks before taking off for spring break. Troy will return to the practice field on March 17 leading up to the annual T-Day Game on March 29.
