A third murder was discovered this morning in Bay County.
The Bay County Sheriff's Office is searching for a suspect in a homicide in Bay County. According to Sheriff Frank McKeithen, Allen Sidney Johnson was found dead in his Wilson Avenue home Monday. Authorities are not sure how long Johnson had been dead.

McKeithen has identified a suspect as Derrick Ray Thompson, 41, who is also a person of interest in a double homicide in Santa Rosa County over the weekend. Thompson is 5-feet-6 and weighs 225 pounds.

The Sheriff said that Thompson could be driving Johnson's silver Toyota pickup truck, with a tag of VY-105. Anyone that comes in contact with Thompson should immediately call 9-1-1 or Crimestoppers at 785-TIPS.

Santa Rosa County deputies have been searching for Thompson in connection to a double homicide of a married couple found shot inside their residence in Milton. According to their release, his last known location was Bay County on Sunday. In addition to being a suspect in the double homicide in Santa Rosa County, Thompson is wanted on burglary, grand theft and fraud charges in Santa Rosa County.
