A top healthcare executive who resides in the Atlanta area has been arrested in Geneva County on charges he solicited sex from what he believed to be an underage girl. Michael Lee Graue, 58, of Lawrenceville, Georgia, according to officers, was apprehended late Friday in Hartford where police say he came to have sex.

The Geneva Reaper newspaper reports the arrest occurred in when Graue went to a restaurant to meet whom he believed to be a 14-year old girl. The newspaper said the arrest was made with the assistance of Perverted Justice. The organization uses volunteers who pose as underage girls to catch predators. PrevertedJustice.com claims it investigates, identifies, and publicizes the conduct of adults who solicit online sexual conversations with adults posing as minors.

Graue is accused of soliciting child sex through the use of a computer and traveling to meet an underage child for the purpose of engaging in illegal sexual activity. Both are felonies and punishable by up to 20 years in prison under Alabama law.

Several professional websites list Graue as the chief executive officer of the Tenet Healthcare’s Southern Division. His bio, as of Monday afternoon, had been removed from the company’s website. A company spokesperson said Graue has been terminated. Tenet Healthcare is largest publicly traded healthcare hospital in the U.S. according to several business websites and operates several hospitals in the Atlanta metro area.

A spokesperson at the Geneva County Jail said Graue was released on bond but he wasn’t sure of the amount posted. Court records indicating the bond amount were not immediately available.
