Philadelphia, PA (SportsNetwork.com) - The Philadelphia Eagles agreed to terms with wide receiver Jeremy Maclin on a one-year deal Friday.

Maclin missed the entire 2013 season with a torn ACL he suffered in training camp. The Missouri product led the Eagles in receptions (69), receiving yards (857) and touchdowns (seven) in Andy Reid's final season in 2012.

"Jeremy is an ideal player for our scheme with his combination of size, speed, strength and route-running ability, in addition to his dynamic playmaking talent," Eagles general manager Howie Roseman said. "We're happy to see him rehabbing well and to get him under contract for the 2014 season."

Head coach Chip Kelly is "excited" to see Maclin develop in his offense.

"You saw the potential of that in the spring and summer but obviously he didn't get an opportunity last year. However, what was great to see was how he was literally here every single day since being injured. You can see he has a passion for the game of football," Kelly said.

Since being selected in the first round of the 2009 NFL Draft, Maclin has caught 258 passes for 3,453 yards and 26 touchdowns in his first four years in the league.

The Eagles have been busy this offseason. The Maclin signing comes a day after they inked fellow wide receiver Riley Cooper to a five-year extension and center Jason Kelce to a seven-year pact. Philadelphia also locked up All-Pro left tackle Jason Peters though 2018 on Wednesday.
