DOTHAN, ALA. – April 29, 2014 – A local nonprofit facility has gotten a much needed makeover thanks to a local partnership between Comcast and The Ordinary People Society (TOPS) for the 13th Comcast Cares Day on Saturday, April 26.

Local Comcast employees, their friends and families and local volunteers worked together at the 45,000 square foot TOPS facility painting, setting up a computer lab, organizing storage rooms, landscaping and creating a garden outside. TOPS is a faith-based nonprofit organization that offers assistance to individuals and their families that are facing the effects of drug addiction, incarceration, homelessness, unemployment, hunger and illness.

Comcast Cares Day is the company’s signature day of service and the nation’s largest single-day corporate volunteer effort.
