Versatility is the name of the game for Ben. Whether he's questioning Newt Gingrich about the politics of his Presidential campaign, asking Nick Saban about a dominant BCS Championship game performance or riding the back of a garbage truck, he works to get answers to the questions that are important to local viewers. His work has earned him multiple Associated Press awards.
Ben is a 2010 graduate of Troy University where he earned a degree in broadcast journalism. He worked with the Troy Athletic Department in sports information as a college student. There he worked closely with the Troy Trojans football team. He also anchored TrojanVision Nightly News, wrote for the Troy Messenger and hosted multiple sports talk shows on WTBF-FM.
Ben was also the "stadium voice" of Troy Trojans basketball, baseball and softball.
Upon graduation in 2010, he made his way back home to Dothan and earned his stripes in the television business as a sports anchor and morning show host.
He went to work for the Enterprise Chamber of Commerce in 2013 before joining the WDHN team in 2014.
Ben is a proud alumni of Dothan High School.
His wife, Michelle, is a local elementary school teacher, and in January of 2014 they welcomed their daughter to the world.
They are members of Covenant United Methodist Church in Dothan.
