Abbeville man arrested for shooting into empty apartment

Muhammad Kelly was charged with discharging a firearm into an unoccupied dwelling.
On February 11, 2014 the Dothan Police Department made a felony arrest after responding to a “shots fired” complaint in the area of the Johnson Homes apartment complex.

Investigators say Muhammad Kelly discharged a firearm into an unoccupied apartment located in the 100 block of Kohler Court. Kelly was located shortly after the incident when witnesses to the event identified him as the shooter.

Muhammad Kelly has been charged with Discharging a Firearm into an Unoccupied Dwelling. His arrest now brings this case to a close.

Muhammad Jihad Kelly, black male, 21 years of age, of Abbeville, Alabama was arrested and charged with Discharging a Firearm into an Unoccupied Dwelling. A bond amount has been set at $15,000.00.

All persons arrested are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
