AUBURN, Ala. -- Auburn fans attending Saturday's Homecoming game against Western Carolina will be allowed access to the field at Jordan-Hare Stadium once the field has been cleared. Auburn fans wanting to take photographs or walk on the field, can do so post-game.
"There are countless Auburn fans young and old that would like to have the opportunity to walk the field that Auburn players and coaches past and present have played on," Director of Athletics Jay Jacobs said. "We felt that this was a great time to do this. We're very appreciative of the Southeastern Conference and Commissioner Slive for granting us a waiver and allowing this to happen for our fans."
Once the field has been cleared of all players and coaches, fans will be granted the opportunity to come to field level approximately 15 minutes after the game and will be allowed to remain on the field for 45 minutes. Please heed the direction of the stadium announcer and security personnel.
Fans will be allowed access to the field thru field gates at Sections 1, 11, 15, 20, 24 and 34. Fans are also asked to please refrain from entering the field over the brick walls in each end zone.
Saturday's game will kick off at 1 p.m.CT. Single-game tickets are $35 and can be purchased online. The game will also be available on pay-per-view. To purchase, fans should contact their local cable or small dish provider to order the game.
