Troy men's tennis wins second straight

The Troy men’s tennis team won its second straight match, defeating Bradley at home on Wednesday, 4-1. The match was the second of four straight at the Lunsford Tennis Complex for the Trojans.

Troy (4-11) got wins at No. 2 and No. 3 doubles to take the opening point. Gabriel Sciacca Dias put Troy up 2-0 with a 6-0, 6-2 win at No. 2 singles, before Bradley (3-10) won at No. 6 to pull within one at 2-1.

Pablo Moreno won 6-4, 6-4 at No. 3 singles to put Troy on the verge. Sami Ghorbel then clinched the match, winning 6-3, 6-4 at No. 1 singles to give Troy the 4-1 win. Full results are below.

The Trojans return to the court on Friday when they host Alabama State as part of a men’s and women’s doubleheader that starts at 1:30 p.m.
