Men's hoops hosts UALR Thursday

The Troy men’s basketball team returns home to take on UALR on Thursday night at 7 p.m. inside Trojan Arena. Just four regular season games remain as the Trojans make their push for the Sun Belt Tournament.

Troy (9-17, 4-10 SBC) has dropped two in a row, after falling at UL-Lafayette and South Alabama last weekend. The Trojans currently sit in a tie for the eighth and final spot in the Sun Belt Tournament.

Troy is led by senior Hunter Williams at 13.0 points per game. Williams leads the Sun Belt with 3.7 made 3’s per conference game. Antoine Myers is second on the squad in scoring at 11.9 points per game.

UALR (12-15, 7-8 SBC) enters the game having lost five straight. The Trojans currently sit in sixth in the conference standings.

UALR is led by Will Neighbour at 16.3 points and 7.0 rebounds per game. Josh Hagins and James White are also scoring in double figures, at 12.5 and 11.1 points per game respectively.

Troy is 6-6 all-time against UALR, including a 75-62 win in Little Rock in January. Jeff Mullahey and Tevin Calhoun led the Trojans that night, scoring 17 points each.
