ENTERPRISE, Ala.--Hit the road with United Way, Wiregrass United Way traveled throughout the area for its 8th Annual Kickoff Campaign Bus Tour.
They visited six counties today where they made short stops including a stop at the Enterprise Farmer's Market where United Way workers thanked the community for their help.
"Without them this would not be possible. They are the ones that are in the community. There are the ones that are actually out visiting the agency visiting the people and raising the funds," said Chere Johnson, Board of Trustee Chair for the Wiregrass United Way Campaign.
United Way provides valuable services and resources for those in need.
Donations from businesses and individuals in the Wiregrass help fund its 44 partner agencies.
They are tying to keep the momentum going so they can reach there goal of $2,840,000 by the end of the campaign.
