Deputy Brian Money with the Henry County Sheriff's office conducted what he thought would be just a traffic stop, but quickly turned into a drug bust.

On August 26 around 9:00 p.m. Deputy Money pulled over a beige buick on Highway 431. The sheriff's office said the driver, Demondray S. White, from Mary Esther Florida, was acting nervous. Deputy Money and Deputy Vanlandingham said they also smelled a strong odor of Marijuana coming from the vehicle.

After a search warrant was completed deputies located 20,000 pills suspected to be XANAX, four bags containing suspected Crack Cocaine and one plastic bag containing suspected Marijuana.

Demondray White was arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance, Drug Trafficking and Possession of Marijuana.

White was booked into the Henry County Jail and bond was set at $295,000 for all three charges.
