A 12-year old Bay County Florida already arrested twice for stealing school buses has been apprehended third time as he reportedly headed toward Dothan in a stolen pickup truck.

Michael Propst was captured Thursday morning in Campbellton, about 20 miles south of Dothan

Propst was first arrested June 24 after he stole a school bus in Parker—near Tyndall Air Force Base---and drove if 15 miles to a Panama City Beach Wal-Mart. The day following his release after spending three weeks in a detention center Propst was arrested for stealing a second school bus and driving it to Mexico Beach.

He was arrested a third time Thursday for stealing a neighbor’s truck in Springfield, Florida and driving it north on U.S. 231 to Jackson County.

Police say he cut off an ankle monitor and attempted to steal his mother’s car and a go-cart before taking the pickup.

"We've got a young man that apparently not only has some emotional problems of his own, but has some issues at home. And doesn't know how to cope with them", said Springfield Chief Thorne.
