TALLAHASSEE – With no jackpot winner in Tuesday’s MEGA MILLIONS® drawing, players now have the chance to win an estimated $144 million in the Friday, August 15 drawing. This is the sixth-largest MEGA MILLIONS jackpot since Florida added the multi-state game in May 2013.

If one ticket matches all six numbers for the $144 million mega-jackpot, the winner will have the choice of receiving the full jackpot in 30 annual graduated payments, or a cash option of approximately $84 million before taxes. In addition to the large MEGA MILLIONS jackpot prize, players have the opportunity to win lower-tier prizes from $1 to $5 million by matching any of the non-jackpot-winning combinations.

This jackpot has rolled 13 times since July 1, when MEGA MILLIONS had its most recent jackpot winner. There have been more than 781,000 Florida MEGA MILLIONS winners in this series of rollovers, winning more than $3.08 million in prizes.

MEGA MILLIONS tickets cost $1. Players have the option to add Megaplier for $1 more per play, for the chance to multiply non-jackpot winnings by up to five times. Drawings for MEGA MILLIONS are held Tuesday and Friday nights at 11:00 p.m. ET.
