A new business is coming to Troy, Alabama that will bring 50 new jobs to the area. Conecuh Ridge Distillery will build a new 13 million dollar facility to the area.
The announcement was made on Thursday at the Johnson Center in downtown Troy. Conecuh Ridge is responsible for making the popular Clyde Wade whiskey. Chairman of Conecuh Ridge James Ammeen says the reason why a facility is being built in Troy is because of the heritage, authenticity and legacy of the area.
Along with a new distillery, Conecuh Ridge also plans on having a tasting center, event facility and gift shop apart of the new development in Troy.
