Alvarez chose to receive his winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $711,608.63. He purchased his winning ticket from the Selecto Supermarket, located at 1630 N.W. 27th Avenue in Miami. The retailer will receive a $2,000 bonus commission for selling the winning Scratch-Off ticket.
