DOTHAN—Troy University’s annual learning enrichment camp for local children, Summer Spectacular, will explore global cultures starting June 10 at Kelly Springs Elementary School.

Open to children ages 4 to 12, the camp will be held from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., Tuesday through Thursday, from June 10-July 3. The cost is $30 per week, per child.

Troy University students majoring in education lead the annual four-week summer learning enrichment program. Summer Spectacular provides a fun learning environment for children while giving TROY students hands-on experience in a classroom setting.

This year’s theme is “Cross Cultural Explorations,” with a focus on the cultures of Korea, India, France and Ghana.

Registration is open now on a first-come, first-served basis, but participation is capped at 100 students. For more information, or to request a registration form, contact Dr. Cynthia Hicks at
