High school students are getting the opportunity to play CSI Crime Investigators.

Troy University Dothan is hosting their third annual Forensic Camp. Students are getting hands on experience as if they were real crime investigators.

This year's theme is bugs and drugs, so students will be going in depth with the life cycle of different bugs. This will show students another way to analyze how long a body has been decaying.

“They're our future work force individuals and they need to receive the training that some people didn't receive at their age. This is a wonderful way to give them the training and tools that they need to be able to succeed,” said Entomologist Sonya Thomas.

The Dothan Police Department and The Houston County Sheriff's Office are also helping out with the camp.
