Keep calm and latch on – that’s the motto for one Dothan support group. The group is for breast feeding mothers.

They meet the first and third Thursday of every month at Southeast Alabama Medical Hospital Women's Center.

There is not cost for the services and every mother is invited to come.  Moms can come and ask questions, get support and advice, meet other nursing moms, and get bi-weekly weight checks for their babies.

Keitha Madrie is the only international Board Certified Lactation Consultant in a 90 mile radius of Dothan.

“It takes a village to raise a baby and this is my village and they will help me through anything and I’ve learned that I need the help and to accept it when they offer it,” said group member and mother of two Lauren Poss.

If you'd like to join the group or have questions you can contact Keitha Madrie at 334-673-4141.
