ENTERPRISE, Ala.-- Individuals with developmental or physical disabilities will soon have the chance to learn the game of tennis thanks to Enterprise Parks and Recreation and a new program.
At the rotary club meeting Tuesday, ex-professional tennis player Jessica Wyreuter spoke about her nonprofit organization, DreamCourt Incorporated, which provides an adaptive tennis program for individuals with special needs.
The program began in Montgomery with 5 athletes and now serves over 100.
Enterprise will be the second city to adopt the program.
The summer adaptive camp will be held July 23-27 from 6-7 p.m. at Donaldson Park's Tennis Courts.
