A manhunt is underway for 44-year old David Pitts of Ozark. He is wanted for the sexual assault of a 30-year-old woman and an 8-year-old girl.

Ozark police say they received a missing person report just after midnight on County Road 58 in Ozark. Police soon realized that the two females had been abducted at knife point from their home and driven to another location were they were sexually assaulted.

Pitts was last seen driving a 1999 Toyota Sienna mini-van with an Alabama license plate 26AP540.

Arrest warrants have been issued for Pitts. He is wanted on two counts of kidnapping, rape, sexual abuse, theft of property and burglary.

The suspect is considered armed and dangerous. If anyone comes in contact with Pitts you are urged to immediately contact the nearest law enforcement agency.
