Enterprise police are investigating a series of weekend car and truck burglaries. The break-ins occurred in the area of College, Lee and Rawls Streets. Stolen were firearms, cash, and electronics.

“The (people behind the crimes) are gaining entry into the vehicles by breaking a window or through unlocked doors,” said Enterprise Police Public Information Officer Billy Haglund. He said the crimes serve as a reminder to everyone not to leave valuable items in their vehicles.

“The Enterprise Police Department asks that residents report suspicious persons or suspicious activity in their neighborhood,” Haglund urged.

Anyone with information regarding these or any other crimes are asked to contact police at (334)347-222 or click here to leave an online tip.
