GetEducated.com, a consumer group that provides comparative data on some 3,800 regionally accredited online programs as a service to help students, ranked TROY’s online Master of Science in Criminal Justice program eighth among competing options nationwide, while the bachelor’s program was ranked 15th.
The GetEducated.com Best Buy rankings listed 18 affordable online master’s degree programs in criminal justice. The rankings were calculated by comparing tuition and distance education fees at 31 regionally accredited universities in the U.S.
The bachelor’s degree rankings were derived from analysis of 43 regionally accredited universities offering 57 undergraduate programs in the career areas of criminal justice, homeland security, law and legal studies.
A GetEducated Best Buy award indicates the University’s online learning program has been independently reviewed and found to offer “a high quality, regionally accredited online (program) at a cost that ranks well below the national average.”
“Affordability and convenience are key aspects of our online programs at Troy University,” said Dr. Lance Tatum, Vice Chancellor of Global Campus, the arm of the University that oversees programs outside of the state of Alabama and eTROY. “While our online programs are truly best buys, the eTROY faculty and staff are dedicated to providing students quality at every step of the degree program.”
TROY also recently ranked on GetEducated.com’s top 25 lists for psychology, human services and information technology degrees.
