This fall Dothan City School students will be receiving their free iPads. Before the students are given the iPads DCS wants to answer all the communities’ questions about them.

This Wednesday June 11th at 10 a.m. The Dothan Education Foundation will be hosting The 1:1 Initiative meeting at The Dothan Opera House.

Parents and students are encouraged to come out and learn more about the iPads. DCS administrators will provide an overview of the procedures, safety and security measures.

“A lot of parents think their students just going to go to school and receive their iPad, that is not what's going to happen,” said Tami Culver, President of The Dothan Education Foundation. “They are going to have to go through different stations before they can receive the iPad. So we want you to go to those stations prepared and knowing what to expect. “

There will also be a second meeting on Tuesday July 8th at The Dothan Opera House at 5:30 p.m.
